Sikkim is emerging as a destination star in northeastern India. From the bustling capital, Gangtok, to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake and Gurudongmar Lake, every state is stepping up with each passing year. When you think of the boom in Northeast and Northeast tourism, there is one thing in common. Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas in northeastern India, Sikkim tourist places are in shaky nature with many natural lakes, amusing waterfalls, and lush green deep valleys.

1. Pelling

The pleasant small town of Pelling is famous for its spectacular views of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga Range, the third highest peak in the world. Peeling is 130 km from Siliguri and 115 km from Gangtok, the capital of Scully, and is well connected by bus and jeep services.



2. Yumthang valley



The charming Yumthang Valley is located at an altitude of 3564 meters north of Sikkim. This place is one of the famous tourist places in Sikkim, known as the 'Flower of the Valley' because of its unique location above the line where trees do not grow. The abundance of its natural beauty is due to the fact that during the spring season, the place is full of beautiful wild colorful flowers, such as primroses and rhododendrons, thus attracting tourists to Hoods. 



3. Rumtek Monastery



The largest monastery in Sikkim, the Rumtek Monastery, is the seat of Karmapa Lama, the third largest monk of Tibetan Buddhism. It also serves as one of the most important sikkim tourist places and seats of the Kagyu (Black Hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism outside Tibet and is also known as the Dharmachakra Center. The Rumtek Monastery is famous for the Golden Stupa located in the new room of the Karma Shri Nalanda Institute. 



4. Lachung



Quiet, quiet and beautiful, Lachung is a small town located on the banks of the Lachung River. This is one of the ideal tourist places in Sikkim for nature lovers. It is located near the Tibetan border and is surrounded by beautiful nature. You can enjoy the magnificent views of the royal mountains from here. 5. Ravangla



Ravangla was also crowded when Ravongla and Rawangla were located at the foot of the Maenam and Tendong Hill is a small transit town in South Sikkim. Developed at an altitude of 7,000 feet, Ravangla is famous for offering an unparalleled view of the Greater Himalayan Range. Ravangla, endowed with natural beauty, has  been one of the best places to visit in Sikkim for tourists.
