History Of Sikkim

When I try to know about the history of Sikkim. Then, I got to know. That Sikkim emerged in modern historical records in 1642 with the establishment of a Tibetan Buddhist monarchy or Chogyal. But When India got freedom of 1947 then Sikkim choose not to join India, Instead retaining the Chogyal monarchy. But Sikkimese voted overwhelmingly in 1975 to abolish the Chogyal and become India’s 22nd states.
